Recovery Session

Enjoy your recovery session with experts’ instruction and modern facilities to reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness - muscle pain, speed up your recovery and improve your performance.

Our recovery service gives your body an opportunity to:

Compression Therapy (Normatec)

Our compression therapy is done with the Normatec Recovery Boots, which primary functions are to:

    • Deliver dynamic air compression to promote blood and lymphatic flow to speed up recovery
    • Help to remove waste products, inflammation, and swelling
    • Reduce delayed-onset muscle soreness, relieving muscle pain and decreasing muscle fatigue

The Normatec Boots have also been designed with input from top pro athletes and sports medicine professionals.

Sports Massage/ Cupping

- Recovery massage is applying massage techniques as soon as possible following an event to reduce muscle tension, soreness, and recovery time.

The physiotherapist will draw upon massage techniques such as effleurage and petrissage, gently stretch affected muscles, and encourage vascular supply to the tissues. At this stage, your therapist may apply cupping to affected areas if there is soft tissue stress or pain.

- Cupping is a vacuum type of massage technique performed with handheld cups. Placing suction cups on the body creates a partial vacuum to reduce tension on the skin and tissues underneath. The cups stimulate blood flow to the treated area, allow for soft tissue to release and loosen and break up any stagnation of blood or lymphatic flow. This will give some benefits such as tension reduction, relief of tight muscles, circulation improvement and relaxation.

Stretching

Our stretching session involves our physiotherapist using hands-on techniques to stretch out different muscle groups, which is beneficial for the entire body. A sequence of exercises is carried out, each of which targets a single muscle within a certain cluster. Guided stretches are done repeatedly while being held for a brief period. Each movement heightens awareness of specific muscle reactions inside the targeted tissue, easing muscle tension and pain.

Recovery Combo

Mỗi người đều có một thể trạng khác biệt và phản ứng theo cách khác nhau với các phương án điều trị, không có một phương án hồi phục nào là hoàn hảo. Do đó, nên thử nghiệm các kỹ thuật hồi phục để tìm ra một số ít có hiệu quả với bản thân mình và kết hợp chúng vào kế hoạch tập luyện.

Bên cạnh các phương pháp điều trị phục hồi được cung cấp tại IRC, khách hàng nên ghi nhớ và áp dụng “Bốn Yếu tố của Phương pháp Tiếp cận Sức khỏe” nhằm tăng cường khả năng hồi phục và tối đa hóa lợi ích mang lại. 4 yếu tố đó là: Ăn tốt, Ngủ tốt, Suy nghĩ tốt (tích cực, không căng thẳng v..v..) và Tập luyện tốt. Việc kết hợp phương pháp này và các buổi Hồi phục tại IRC trong chu trình tập luyện sẽ giúp tối ưu hiệu quả tăng cường sức khỏe.
